The joining yarns in the multi-axial warp knitted fabric are made of high-performance polyester technical yarns, which have poorer binding properties to the resin than the glass fibers used as joining yarns in the 3D orthogonal multilayer fabric, and the molded composite has better mechanical properties as a result.
